Medical Evacuation Aircraft Crashes in the US: 4 Crew Members Deceased

Trans Aero MedEvac has confirmed the loss of four team members following the crash of its King Air fixed-wing aircraft in the early morning hours of May 14, 2026, in New Mexico.
Search and Recovery Operations
The aircraft was performing a medical transport mission from Roswell, New Mexico, to Sierra Blanca Regional Airport when communication and radar contact were lost. Following the initiation of emergency protocols, the wreckage was located in the Capitan Mountains region near Ruidoso.
Emergency response teams, including fire suppression units and search and rescue personnel, continue to operate at the crash site under challenging terrain conditions. Out of respect for the families, the identities of the deceased will not be released until all official notifications are verified.
